Watts Water Filter.

I have been installing water filters for many years now. When I first started Puretec was the best product out there. I recently moved home and prior to moving in I installed a Watts Water Filter. Being new on the market I thought I would be its guinea pig.

If you have ever shopped for these you will know that there is a lot of choice. However, you do need to read into the background information. Whilst you can get really cheap filters, they often have pit falls. Look how long the filter cartridges last, some manufacturers recommend 3 monthly replacement, yes it’s a good initial price, but I can guarantee in the long term you will be paying more for the cartridge replacements. Some manufacturers will give a 10 year warranty on parts, others 12 months, you have to ask why? How robust is the filter? Does it have metal inserts rather than plastic? Filters for this system generally last around 12 months, however, depending on how much chlorine is being filtered and how much water is going through the filter, this can affect the cartridges longevity. the filter system is also very competitive in price. After being the guinea pig I am very happy with system.
