Mains Pressure Hot Water Cylinder

Mains Pressure Hot Water Cylinder

Last week I did a Blog on De-zincification.

This was the finished Hot Water Cylinder replacement. The valve that I have circled is a tempering valve. The original I replaced due to de-zincification. I also relocated the valve as the original had been installed directly on top of the old HWC outlet. New Zealand building code requires a minimum of 1m of copper pipe from the outlet to a tempering valve, this prevents the valve being cooked, giving it a longer life.

If you have any queries about your HWC or looking to upgrade, give me a call. Meeting your plumbing needs.
