Kitchen Faucet Replacement.

The old kitchen Faucet had seen better days.

I tried to reseat the the seating on the old tap. The tool grinds off the top of the brass seating so that the washer has a nice flat surface to sit on. The seating had a big piece of brass that was severely pitted. The pitting went below the level of the seating preventing the washer sealing, thus the tap continued to drip. A quick trip to the merchant and removing the old faucet was the only remedy.
